We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven and result oriented professionals to provide the following consultancy services:- CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR REVIEW AND DEVELOPMENT OF A PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR MANAGEMENT UNIVERSITY OF AFRICA ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVE The main objective of this consultancy is to conduct a comprehensive review of the existing performance management system at the University and facilitate the establishment of a structure that will facilitate a more strategic way of setting, measuring and rewarding performance at the University. ASSIGNMENT TERMS OF REFERENCES (TORS) Specific tasks the consultant is expected to perform include: • Review the current performance management system and job descriptions at the University • Facilitate the introduction of balance scorecard method of performance management in the University • Facilitate the development of targets and score cards for each role in the University • Carry out training for all employees on the score card methods and performance management evaluation • Facilitate the development of a policy and procedure managing performance evaluation results • Provide a framework for documenting work planning and performance review to facilitate decision making OUTPUTS/DELIVERABLES: The consultant will submit to the University leadership the following: • Time frame for delivery • Inception Report to include inter alia the detailed proposed methodology and a Work Implementation Plan • Review of current and PMS systems report • Developed scorecards for each role • PMS manual • Implementation plan for the new PMS system • Training report • Final assignment report EXPERTISE REQUIRED Eligible Consultants / companies should have the following: • At least five (5) years relevant experience in the development and implementation of performance management systems which should include at least one university or institution of higher learning • Demonstrable knowledge of performance management systems • Experience in organisational review and/or design • Qualifications up to at least Master Degree in Business Administration Human Resources Option or related field from a recognised university; membership to IHRM, • Ability to manage assignments effectively –consistently ensuring timeliness and Only qualified applicants will be contacted.
